Die James-Simon-Galerie, entworfen von David Chipperfield Architects, ist seit Sommer 2019 das neue zentrale Eingangs- und Servicegebäude auf der Museumsinsel Berlin.
Polyform entwickelte das Leit- und Informationssystem für den öffentlichen und den nichtöffentlichen Bereich in Form von Wandtypografien.
Außerdem gestaltete polyform neben Serviceelementen wie Flyerständern und Spendenboxen, die auf das gesamte Gebäude verteilt sind, großformatige Medienwände oberhalb der Empfangstresen. Deren Planung umfasste sowohl die Hardware als auch das Interface

The James-Simon-Galerie, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, is the new central entrance building of the Museumsinsel Berlin.
Polyform has created the signage and information system for the public and non-public areas in the form of typography on walls.
Also polyform has designed service elements such as brochure stands and donation boxes, spread over the whole building, as well as large-size media walls above the reception desks. Their planning includes hardware as well as interface design.
