People who are visually or hearing-impaired may experience exhibitions more intensively by stimulating their fully functional senses. Hence strong integration and active participation within exhibitions and museums will encourage disability inclusion.
The proposed device has an individual user interface on both sides: on one surface, visually impaired may find tactile texts in Braille and an additional phonetic component which serves as a support. On the other side of the device, image material as well as topic texts for people with impaired or no hearing ability are offered and a sign language subtitle is also available.
The tablet is universally usable in every kind of exhibition and information will be provided responsively via wifi / bluetooth.
